Philippe Demonsablon

Philippe Demonsablon (1927-2017) was a French film critic. In 1953, Demonsablon started writing for Cahiers du Cinéma, where he was part of a new group of critics engaged by André Bazin and Jacques Doniol-Valcroze. His career in film criticism ended in 1960, after which Demonsablon turned to civil engineering.
