Jean-Marie Straub Video Tributes

On January 8, Jean-Marie Straub has turned 85. To celebrate this special anniversary, the Swiss cinémathèque has commissioned 15 friends – including Peter Nestler, Bernard Eisenschitz, Jean-Louis Comolli, Jean Narboni and Valérie Massadian – to make video tributes. On the evening of his birthday, Straub also presented the world premiere of his new film, Gens du Lac (2018, 17'), at cinema Capitole in Lausanne.
