Saad Chakali

Saad Chakali is a regular contributor to Éclipses and Le Rayon Vert, and one of the two hosts of the website Des Nouvelles du Front cinématographique. He is the author of three books published by L’Harmattan: Jean-Luc Godard dans la relève des archives du mal (2017), Humanité restante. Penser l’événement avec la série The Leftovers with Alexia Roux (2018), and Masques blancs, peau noire. Les visages de Watchmen de Damon Lindelof (2021). In addition to his books, Chakali has authored numerous articles for publications such as Trafic, 24 images, Images documentaires, Vertigo, and the Festival Entrevues catalogue. In 2020, he edited the issue of the journal Éclipses dedicated to Agnès Varda. Saad Chakali works at the Édouard-Glissant Media Library in Blanc-Mesnil, Seine-Saint-Denis.
