Johan van der Keuken Retrospective in Barcelona

A major retrospective dedicated to Dutch filmmaker and photographer Johan van der Keuken begins at Filmoteca de Catalunya in Barcelona. Running through the end of April, the programme offers a wide survey of his work. The retrospective opens tonight, Wednesday 4 March, with a triple bill presented by filmmaker, critic and friend Thierry Nouel. Nosh van der Lely, widow and collaborator of Johan van der Keuken, will also be present to introduce several screenings during the cycle. The programme runs alongside the exhibition Tenim disset anys. Un retrat col·lectiu at Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona, inspired by Van der Keuken’s early photographic work.
