The 2016 symposium focuses on Chantal Akerman and the musical genre outside of Hollywood. Key note speakers are film scholars Adrian Martin, whose text ‘Cinephilia as War Machine’ is featured on Sabzian, and Kelley Conway of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
