Mij heeft in deze film van Chris Marker altijd een ander gezicht gemarkeerd: de karakterkop in de rolkraag die de tijdreisexperimenten leidt. Deze beeldendokter wordt gespeeld door Jacques Ledoux. De legendarische Ledoux, te weinig herinnerd in eigen land, was veertig jaar lang conservator van het Brusselse filmarchief, nu CINEMATEK.
