Soumitra Chatterjee, the legendary Indian actor with more than 200 films to his name and famed for his work with Satyajit Ray, has died of complications from the coronavirus. He played key roles in fourteen of Ray's films between 1959 and 1990, including the third installment of the acclaimed Apu Trilogy.
