Bolex in the Sea

From 9 April to 7 June, Cinema Nova hosts Bolex in the Sea, an exhibition in the foyer curated by Boris Belay, tracing the history of the iconic Bolex camera. Drawing from his personal collection, Belay presents several camera models alongside previously unseen working documents by filmmaker Rose Lowder and materials related to two films by Anita Conti, in connection with the programme “Visserijverhalen.”

The exhibition opened on 10 April and forms part of BOLEX!, a broader programme dedicated to the enduring legacy of this versatile filmmaking tool.
