Introduction by Nina de Vroome

In 2025, the Union of the Belgian Film Press (UBFP) celebrates its 100th anniversary with a special screening programme at CINEMATEK. The festivities began in January and will continue through November. Every third Thursday of the month, a UBFP award-winning film will be screened, selected by the 100-year celebration committee. The programme includes a diverse selection of films, including Le diable au corps (Claude Autant-Lara, 1947), Les rendezvous d'Anna (Chantal Akerman, 1978), Khane-ye doust kodjast? [Where Is the Friend's Home?] (Abbas Kiarostami, 1987) and Rosetta (Jean-Pierre Dardenne & Luc Dardenne, 1999).

On 29 May, Sabzian editor Nina de Vroome will give a lecture introducing the screening of Khane-ye doust kodjast? [Where Is the Friend's Home?] at CINEMATEK.
